Please have the following information available:
- Name of the person responsible for the Council Tax bill
- Property address
- Names of all adults aged 18 or over living at the property
- Council Tax account number
- Course title
- Course start and end date
- Name of college, university, or training provider
- Student certificate or Council Tax exemption certificate
Your college, university or training provider should be able to give you a Council Tax exemption certificate.
We cannot accept
- Student ID cards
- UCAS or other course applications
- Screenshots of enrolments
- Other letters without confirmed course start and end dates.
This will delay your application as we will need to request further information.
Correspondence courses, evening classes or courses undertaken as part of a person’s employment do not normally qualify.
