Full-time student discount or exemption

You can apply if you are:

• A full-time student
• A student nurse
• Aged 18 or 19 years old and still at school
• Aged 18 or 19 years old and have recently left school or college
• An apprentice
• A youth trainee

Do I qualify?

Your course must normally:

• Last at least one academic year or calendar year
• Require at least 24 weeks attendance each year
• Involve at least 21 hours of study each week.

If you are under 20 and studying for a qualification no higher than A-level or equivalent, your course must:

• Last at least 3 months
• Involve at least 12 hours of study each week.
