After you have applied
After you submit your application, we may need more information before we can process your claim. If we do, we will email, telephone or write to you to tell you what we need.
If you do not provide the information we request within one month, you may not receive any Council Tax Reduction, and you may have to pay the full Council Tax bill.
Manage your claim online
Once you receive your claim number, you can register for My Account.
This allows you to:
- view your Council Tax Reduction
- upload any further information
- manage your Council Tax bill online

- Use the self-service stations in our libraries

Disputing Council Tax decisions
If you disagree with a decision about your Council Tax Reduction, discount, or exemption, you have the right to ask for an explanation, request a review, or appeal in some cases. You can find out how to do this here.
