Lost, stolen or damaged Blue Badges
If you have lost your Blue Badge, it has been stolen or is damaged or faded to the point that you cannot read the details on it, you will need to apply for a replacement online. If you find this difficult, you can ask family or friends to apply on your behalf or use a computer for free at anyone of the borough’s libraries.
If you are unable to apply online and you want to talk to someone, please contact customer service.
The fee for a replacement Blue Badge is £10.
A replacement badge is valid until the expiry date of the original badge.
If your Blue Badge is due to expire in less than 3 months, or has expired, you should not apply for a replacement. You should instead renew your Blue Badge online as explained above.
If you have moved address since your badge was issued, you will need to provide proof of your new address before your badge can be replaced.
To replace the Blue Badge, you will need
- your personal details
- your National Insurance number, if you have one
- the existing badge number, if you know it
If the badge has been stolen, you will also need a crime reference number.
