Final notice

A final notice is issued if:

  • You’ve already had two reminders, but your instalment payments have fallen behind again, or
  • Your account has ended and there is still an outstanding balance.

At this stage:

  • You must pay the full balance.

If you do not pay in full or set up a payment arrangement within 14 days, a court summons may be issued.

You can request a payment arrangement if you are unable to pay the full amount.

You will need:

  • Your Council Tax reference; this can be found in the 'ACCOUNT NO.' box at the top of your bill or final notice notice.
  • Your bank account details if setting up a direct debit
  • The total balance outstanding as shown on your final notice.
