In an effort to encourage active travel and improve pedestrian links in the area, a highway scheme has been developed to provide a signalised crossing on Pottery Lane to connect two sections of Stadt Moers Park.
Key elements of scheme
- Active travel improvements – provision of a safer route for cyclists and pedestrians, linking into the wider walking and cycling network.
- Signalised crossing – improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
- Raised table – reduce speed and improve crossing across Pottery Close.
