Apply for in-year school admission application information

If you are moving into Knowsley and seeking a local school place because your child/children cannot continue to attend their current school, you should notify the local authority by email to schooladmissions@knowsley.gov.uk, providing the following information:

• Child/ren’s names
• Child/ren’s dates of birth
• Current home address (if not yet moved)
• Current school
• Expected new Knowsley address (and date of move)
• Parent/s name and contact phone number

The team can provide information about local school availability so you can make an informed decision about which schools to apply to, and so the local authority can help to make sure your child has a new school place as soon as possible. Remember - some schools may be fully subscribed in some year groups and not be able to offer a place.

You are advised to make your application six weeks (30 school days) before your move takes place to allow time for processing and any admission arrangements to be made.
