Your views wanted – how are pharmacies serving Knowsley residents?

Knowsley Health and Wellbeing Board has produced the first draft of its 2025 - 2028 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) report.

The PNA provides a picture of local community pharmacies and pharmaceutical services provided in Knowsley and assesses if these address needs and how these could further support the health and wellbeing of local people. The PNA is used by the NHS when they are reviewing applications to open a new pharmacy or approving any changes to existing contracts.

The Knowsley PNA 2025-28 draft has been informed by a ‘resident experience survey’, undertaken at the end of 2024, which invited people who use pharmacies in Knowsley to share feedback, thoughts and experiences. Results from the survey, alongside data and other information, were used to produce the current PNA draft.

Have your say

Knowsley’s Health and Wellbeing Board is now asking for residents’ feedback on the pharmaceutical needs assessment findings.
