Licencing Policy Consultation
Knowsley Council are currently reviewing our Statement of Licensing Policy under the Licensing Act 2003, which determines the way in which licensing decisions are made, in accordance with its statutory duties under the Licensing Act 2003 and invites you to take part in the consultation process.
The current Statement of Licensing Policy was approved by the Council on 9 December 2020 and came into effect on 4 January 2021 however this policy must be reviewed and updated every 5 years, hence the need for it to be reviewed during 2025.
Your views are important in helping us ensure the policy reflects the needs and priorities of our local community and promotes responsible licensing supporting the four licensable objectives. We welcome feedback from residents, businesses, licence holders and other stakeholders, and invite you to take this opportunity to review the draft policy and share your comments or suggestions by the 31 August 2025 via the following form.
