Delays with bin collections
Unfortunately, due to operational difficulties there is a slight delay to some maroon bin collections. We apologise for the delay but ask that you leave your maroon bin out and our crews will collect as soon as possible.
Clinical waste and sharps bins require separate collection. Medical professionals must submit an online form on your behalf to join the dedicated service. Find out more here.
Each individual who requires a clinical collection will be sent a collection calendar by post or email which sets out the day and frequency of the collection.
Please note that there have been changes made to the Clinical Waste Collection Service. Some kinds of healthcare waste can be classified as non-hazardous and is suitable for disposal in your maroon bin. For more information, please visit the types of clinical waste page.
Clinical collections will take place over four days from Tuesday to Friday. You will be informed of your specific collection day. Please check your calendar for the exact dates.
