There will be one call for funding during the 2026/2027 financial year (commencing in June 2026), and funding will remain available until such time as the budget of £0.730mis exhausted.
The Council’s awards of funding may choose to focus on the most disadvantaged wards in the Borough and or choose a selection of projects to receive a multi-year award when assessing applications.
Core costs will only be supported within the 5 month (if winter delivery project) or 12-month funding period and must evidence that they are directly related to the project outlined in the application and not for wider work (such as management salaries, general office costs, accountancy and audit and wider fundraising).
A contribution towards a salary is acceptable, however, evidence of this might be asked for.
It is recommended that core and management costs must account for no more than 20% of the funding request combined.
