We recommended saving this Website page to come back to your application instead of the portal log in page.
To complete the online application form, you will need documents listed below at the start of the application process:-
- A copy of your governing document.
- A copy of your latest annual accounts or income/expenditure document.
- A copy of a recent bank statement for your group (dated within the preceding three months).
- A list of your Trustees/Directors/Management Committee Members.
- A copy of your current safeguarding policy.
All applicants must ensure that they hold relevant policies and procedures in place to undertake activities, such as Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks, relevant public liability and/or a health and safety policy, depending on proposed activity.
Please note, ad hoc checks of documentation such as DBS will take place and you will be asked to share such details upon request.
Following advice from internal Audit and Finance colleagues, the Council has applied an additional criteria to all grant funding programmes managed by the Council.
The check relates to the financial due diligence we must adhere to when awarding public funds.
Specifically, any persons/organisations will normally be ineligible for grant funding from the Council, for a period of at least five years, from the point when the debt arose.
This includes:-
- Organisations who owe KMBC money;
- Individuals who owe KMBC money;
- Organisations significantly controlled or managed by individuals who owe KMBC money;
- Organisations significantly controlled or managed by individuals who were directors/in significant control of other organisations which owe(d) KMBC money.
As part of the online application process, applicants will be asked to declare that they are eligible to proceed with the proposed submission.
Please note as part of application process, the Council will be completing internal checks on all applications received. Where an individual or organisation provides inaccurate information in a grant application, that application will be determined invalid. Where an individual or organisation is successful in their application and are found to have provided inaccurate information, they will be required to refund to the Council any grant awarded to them.
All documents must be submitted for an application to progress.
