Disabled facilities grant
If you have a disability and need to make changes to your home, bathroom, or bedroom so you can use them safely, there may be services to help pay for the changes.
Eligibility
To apply for a home improvement grant, you must be a homeowner or tenant and have a disabled person living in your home. The property must be the disabled person's main home for the next five years.
The grants are for people on low incomes. Your household's average weekly income and any savings will be considered, but some disability-related income will not be counted. Families of disabled children under 19 do not have to have their income tested.
