The Halewood Investment Masterplan will bring around £30 million of investment to the area over the coming years helping to make Halewood an even better place to live, work and visit.
The plans include improvements along Leathers Lane, Roseheath Drive, Barn Croft Road and Hillingden Avenue. On Leathers Lane, the project will deliver a more attractive street environment with better public spaces and safer walking and cycling routes linking Halewood Leisure Centre and the retail centre.
These improvements are designed to make it easier and safer for everyone to walk, wheel and cycle around the area. New safe, segregated cycle routes will also be created in line with the latest design guidance providing clearly marked spaces for cyclists and pedestrians.
Overall, the project aims to improve safety, support greener ways to travel and encourage continued growth and investment in Halewood.
