We are developing this strategy to helps us identify strengths and opportunities in Knowsley, so that we are best able to support residents and businesses to grow.

Why we need your information
We may need to use some information about you to:
- Meet our requirements under the Equality Act (2010), which requires public bodies to publish information about how people are affected by policies and practices. We will use this survey data to help us design services around the needs of our communities. Public bodies also have a legal duty to promote equal of opportunity and the elimination of unlawful discrimination.
- To help us shape the objectives of the economic growth plan. All data used is in an anonymised format and analysed to help us develop objectives that deliver economic growth.
What allows us to use your information
Responding to the survey is optional, so data is collected on a voluntary basis.

Data may be shared aggregated and shared anonymously within the Council. It will not be shared with any third parties.
Submitting your information
Participation is voluntary. You can choose not to complete the survey, or to respond to only some of the questions.
How long we will keep your data
The anonymous data will be held by Knowsley Council for a period up to 5 years following the consultation.
How your information will be stored
Anonymised electronic survey data held by Knowsley Council will be stored on a secure electronic system.
Automated decisions about you
This information will not be used to make automated decisions about you.
