Mill Dam Park is one of Knowsley’s four Borough Parks.

Visitor facilities and attractions include:

How to get there

Walking

The main entrance to Mill Dam Park is on Mill Lane. Other local pedestrian entrances are Buttermere Close and Seathwaite Crescent.

Bike

Mill Dam Park forms part of the Kirkby Cycle Route. Find it here.

Train

Kirkby Train Station is a 10-minute walk from Mill Dam Park. Leave the station and turn left onto Glovers Brow, then turn left onto Mill Lane.

Bus

Several buses stop outside Mill Dam Park on Mill Lane.

By car

Leave at junction 6 of the M57 onto Valley Road (A506), signposted Kirkby. Head straight on at the roundabout into Hall Lane. At the crossroads road, turn left onto County Road, and at the next crossroads, turn left into Mill Lane.

Venue opening times

The park is open throughout the year.

The Environment Centre is open when the Ranger is on site.

The cafe and toilets are open seven days a week, 9am - 5pm.
