Walking
Finch Woods has an entrance on Bailey’s Lane and Dacre Avenue.

Bike
If travelling along the Trans Pennine trail through Halewood Park, exit the park at the Hollies Road entrance and turn right onto Hollies Road, continue then turn left onto Wood Road. Turn right onto Leather’s Lane until you reach Bailey’s Lane where you will turn right. The main entrance to Finch Woods will be on your left before Finch Woods Academy.

Train
Halewood Station is a thirty-minute train journey from Liverpool Lime Street, and 16 minutes from Warrington West Station. From Halewood Station, Finch Woods is a 16-minute walk.
Leave the station from Stop A, walk south on Hollies Road, towards Stourvale Road. Tun left onto Wood Road and walk until you meet Leathers Lane when you will turn left. Continue to towards Hornbeam Road and turn left onto Baileys Lane. Walk past the Women’s Institute and the main entrance to Finch Woods will be on the left before you reach Finch Woods Academy.
Bus
The 79 and 166 bus stops on Bailey’s Lane (opposite Leather’s Lane). From this stop you will need to walk approx. 5 minutes south along Bailey’s Lane to arrive at Finch Woods.
The 75 bus stops at Halewood Shopping Centre (Hillingden Avenue). From here, Finch Woods is approximately a 12-minute walk.

By car
If visiting via the M62 - take the turn off at junction 6 and take the first exit off Tarbock Roundabout onto Croton Road (A5080). Turn left onto Whitefield Lane and then turn left onto Netherley Road. Turn right onto Greensbridge Lane and then at the roundabout, take the 1st exit to stay onto Greensbridge Lane towards Bailey’s Lane. Finch Woods is situated along Bailey’s Lane. The site does not have any onsite parking.
