How to get there
Walking
Acornfield Plantation has a main entrance on Spinney Road. There are several other local pedestrian entrances on Acornfield Close, Perimeter Road and Acornfield Road.

Bike
To cycle to Acornfield Plantation, please follow the same route as vehicles. There are no bike racks at Acornfield Plantation.

Train
The nearest station to Acornfield Plantation is Headbolt Lane. It is around an hour walk from the station to Acornfield Plantation. Alternatively, you can walk from the station to Millbrook Drive (around 18 mins) and get the 217 bus which stops at Spinney Road.
Bus
The 216 bus goes from Kirkby Station to South Boundary Road which is a 2-minute walk to Acornfield Plantation. The 17A bus stops at Gale Road which is around a 6-minute walk from Acornfield Plantation.

By car
If travelling from M57, take the exit at junction 4 (A580) to Knowsley Industrial Park / Bootle. At Randles Park Interchange take the 4th exit on Moorgate Road. Turn right onto East Lancashire Road, continue to turn left on Coopers Lane. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Perimeter Road, then left onto Spinney Road.
