Complete an application
Once your test is booked and you have received your confirmation email, you should complete the change of vehicle form immediately.
Please use your vehicle registration as the application reference when submitting the form.
To collect your plate on the day of your test, the application must be done before 48 hours before the test, failing that no later than 3 days after the test.
If you do not submit the application as advised above you will be required to book another MOT test.
If you have obtained an external MOT, please use your vehicle registration as the application reference when submitting the renewal form.
When completing this form, you must:
- Upload valid appropriate Private Hire and Reward Insurance for the vehicle.
- Upload the V5C Vehicle Registration Document (pages 1 and 2) or formal bill of sale.
- (If required) Upload a valid DVSA MOT Test Certificate, dated within the last 28 days, from a Knowsley based Testing Station.
- Pay the required fee.
