Booking your vehicle test
If you are applying for a new plate or applying to change your vehicle you have the choice of -
- Booking a Full MOT with us via our booking system (this will include the suitability aspect).
- Or booking a full MOT with one of the many garages within the Knowsley Metropolitan Borough.
However, if you choose to obtain the MOT externally, you will still be required to book a suitability with us via our booking system (as an external MOT will not cover the taxi specific elements we are required to check to issue your plate).
Please ensure you have fully considered these options and their requirements when you book a test. You will be required to pay the relevant fee by card. You will always be charged for missed appointments. Expenses incurred in submitting a vehicle for a test where the vehicle is found unfit will not be refunded under any circumstances.
You will receive a booking email confirmation, which will state the date and time of your booking and provide details of the next steps. Please check your email junk folder.
