Bin requests can be made through your online My Account.
If you do not have an online My Account you create one here.
The following requests are available through your online My Account:
- Ordering a new/replacement bin - You can request a new bin (s) if you have moved into a new or existing property where there is no bin, or request a replacement if your bin has been damaged, lost or stolen.
- Request a bin repair- for example missing lid, broken wheel. If the main body of the bin is cracked or the lid, hinges or wheels are missing or damaged, every effort will be made to repair the bin rather than replace it. In the event that it can’t be repaired, a replacement bin will be provided free of charge.
- Request for a bin you longer require to be returned
- Cancel an existing bin order.
- Exchange a 360 litre to a 240 litre bin.
Households in Knowsley are usually issued with one general waste (maroon) bin, one recycling (grey) bin and one garden waste (blue) bin. Householders can however request one additional grey bin to support increased levels of recycling.
Until your bin has been delivered, you can dispose of your waste at your local Household waste and recycling centre, or store the waste on your property until your bin arrives.
- There is currently no charge for a recycling (grey) or garden (blue bin)
- A 240 litre General Waste (maroon) bin charge is £36
- Payments can be made online by debit or credit card
Deliveries will be completed as soon as possible.
