The Knowsley Visual Impairment Service is delivered under contract by Bradbury Fields Services for Blind and Partially Sighted People.
The service provides a service to residents from the age of 18 years upwards in Knowsley who experience non-correctable sight loss with a diagnosis from a Consultant Ophthalmologist (eye specialist) at an eye clinic.
The team offers a specialist assessment and a rehabilitation service for adults which includes training in daily living skills, communication skills, low vision, and mobility.
You can find out about registration for people with a visual impairment (includes children’s registration), equipment available to promote independence based on your assessed needs, be provided with information and advice, and signposted to other services which may benefit you.
