Knowsley Council is seeking exceptional leaders to join our Children Social Care leadership team, providing strategic and operational leadership across services that safeguard children, support families, and improve outcomes for cared for and care experienced children and young people.

Whether leading Children in Need and Child Protection, Cared for Children, or Care Experienced People services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that children and young people receive the right support, at the right time, from professionals who are ambitious for their futures.
About the Roles

As a Service Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership within a forward-thinking Children’s Social Care team, driving excellence in practice and delivering outstanding services for children, young people and families.
Working alongside colleagues, partners and stakeholders, you will lead services that protect vulnerable children, strengthen families, promote permanence and stability, and support young people as they transition into adulthood and independence. You will champion a relationship-based, child-centred approach, ensuring that the voices of children and young people shape decision-making and service delivery.
