Why do you need my information?

We are collecting this information to inform Knowsley’s public health response to Coronavirus (COVID-19). This survey is for people who live in Knowsley aged between 18-29 years. Taking part is entirely voluntary. The information gathered in this survey will help Knowsley’s Public Health team understand younger people’s views and experiences of COVID-19, including the COVID-19 vaccine. The information you share with us will be anonymous. The results of the survey will be shared with Knowsley Council to help inform local recovery plans. All information and details shared will be used according to GPDR.

What allows you to use my information?

Taking part in this survey is entirely voluntary.  

Who will my information be shared with?

The anonymous information will be shared within the Public Health team and the Council during analysis and report writing.

Do I have to provide this information and what will happen if I don’t?

Completion of the survey is voluntary. By taking part your views will be considered as part of the approach to managing the response to COVID-19 and for wider recovery plans for the council.

How long will you keep this data for and why?

The anonymous information will be stored for the duration of the COVID-19 response work. The analysis of this survey will be stored and used for future emergency planning and public health management.

How will my information be stored?

The anonymous information will be stored on a Knowsley MBC electronic system on a secure network drive, which is password-protected.

Will this information be used to take automated decisions about me?

No.

Will My Data Be Transferred Abroad?

No.

What rights do I have when it comes to my data?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights with regard to your personal data: 

  • The right to subject access – you have the right to see a copy of the personal data that the Council holds about you and find out what it is used for.
  • The right to rectification – you have the right to ask the Council to correct or remove any inaccurate data that we hold about you.
  • The right to erasure (right to be forgotten) you have the right to ask the Council to remove data that we hold about you.
  • The right to restriction – you have the right to ask for your information to be restricted (locked down) on Council systems
  • The right to data portability – you have the right to ask for your data to be transferred back to you or to a new provider at your request.
  • The right to object – you have the right to ask the Council to stop using your personal data or to stop sending you marketing information, or complain about how your data is used.
  • The right to prevent automated decision making – you have the right to ask the Council to stop using your data to make automated decisions about you or to stop profiling your behaviour (where applicable).
