Local Plan Scoping Document
The first consultation stage in the new plan-making system is on the Knowsley Local Plan Scoping Document. This is where the Council invites views on what the plan should contain and how future engagement on the plan should be carried out.

Accompanying Documents
Alongside the consultation on the Local Plan Scoping document , we are also asking for your views on a collection of accompanying documents, including the Baseline Information Report, Engagement Strategy, Strategic Environmental Assessment Scoping Document, Call for Sites exercise, and Topic Paper summaries.
Why your views matter
Your responses to the questions in these consultations will help shape the direction and content of the new Local Plan before we begin drafting policies or identifying sites for development.

All personal information held on the Local Plan database will be securely stored and only used for the purposes of preparing the planning policy documents.
