Green Space Ranger activities

Knowsley’s Green Space Rangers and parks’ ‘Friends’ groups organise a variety of fun activities including walking groups, cycling sessions and events suitable for the whole family.

Regular Walking Sessions

Please note some walks may be cancelled during half term due to events in the parks. Keep up to date by following Knowsley Parks on Facebook or Instagram. 

Stadt Moers Environment Centre, Pottery Lane, Whiston, L35 3RG

Beginners

Approximately 1 mile (45 minutes)

  • Thursdays: 11 am to 12 pm

Intermediate

2 to 3 miles (approximately three hours)

  • Tuesdays: 1 pm to 3.30 pm/4 pm

Advanced

4 to 5 miles (approximately three hours)

  • Thursdays: 11:00 am to 3.30 pm/4 pm

Health Walk

  • Wednesdays: 10:30am

Halewood Park, Okell Drive, Halewood

Walking for Beginners (Halewood Walking Club)

Approximately 1 mile (45 minutes)

Intermediate

3 to 4 miles (approximately two hours)

  • Tuesdays: 1 pm to 3 pm

Halewood Nordic Walkers

  • Tuesdays: 10:30am – 11:30am
