Please note there are one-off administration charges for new allotment tenants at a cost of £33.00 (plus VAT) and a key charge of £20 (plus VAT) as of 2024.
You are also advised to join the National Allotment Society, which costs from £10 to £25 per year, depending on the site. Some allotment sites also have fees payable to the active committee on site. The charge for this will vary across allotment sites, but will cover your membership to the National Allotment Society and other shared commodities on site. Please check with individual committees for pricing.
Your tenancy agreement is renewed each year on the condition that your plot is properly maintained.
