Prescot Museum

Prescot Museum tells the story of Knowsley through colourful displays of images and objects. In 2012 Prescot Museum relocated to The Prescot Centre, sharing facilities with Prescot Library.

There are 14,500 items in the collection, all connected to people, places and businesses in the borough. There are thousands of photographs and pieces of ephemera such as letters, receipts and booklets. Other types of objects include ceramics, tools, costumes, household items, coins, trophies, architectural fragments and militaria. The vast range of the collection illustrates the rich heritage of the local community.

Prescot Museum is an accredited museum.
