Walking tips
All the heritage walks are different; some of the rural walks are less suitable for those with limited mobility. If you are completely new to physical activity or have any concerns about your health, you should check with your GP before you make any major changes to your activity levels.
If you are setting off alone, make sure someone else knows what route you are taking and what time to expect you back.
Tips
- Take some water for your walk
- Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather
- The walks take between 30-60 minutes
