Support for businesses
Government support is available to businesses and non-domestic customers.
The Energy Bills Discount Scheme provides energy bill relief and discounts will be applied to energy usage between April 2023 and March 2024. The baseline discount will be automatically applied to eligible bills and there is no need to apply.
The baseline discount scheme is available to everyone on a non-domestic contract including businesses, voluntary sector organisations (such as charities), and public sector organisations such as schools, hospitals and care homes.
Additional discounts are available to ‘Energy and Trade Intensive Industries’ and heat networks with domestic end users. Eligible organisations need to apply for these additional discounts via the government’s website.
