The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has secured Government funding to deliver the Warm Homes Local Grant scheme to improve the energy efficiency of homes. It is available to homeowners and private renters who meet the scheme eligibility criteria. The programme can provide assistance for energy efficiency improvements to homes such as wall and loft insulation, solar panels, heat pumps and ventilation systems.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Warm Homes Local Grant:
- Your home must be privately owned
- Your home has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G – if you don’t know your homes EPC, you can find out when you apply.
- Your household income is less than £36,000 per year; or if someone in the household receives certain benefits; or if you live in a certain post code area.
