Get help with learning about digital skills and how to get online
Get Online Week is a national event run every year to help people get online for the first time, discover new ways to use the internet, and develop their digital skills. Over 20% of people in the UK still have limited access to the internet or need help using digital services.
These events are open to everyone, regardless of their existing skills or experience. We just want to help you develop your online skills.
Get Online Week events at Knowsley Libraries are happening 20th - 26th October and will be amongst hundreds of events across the UK.
Knowsley Council’s Digital Buddies will be out and about with partners during Get Online week, which takes place from 20 to 26 October 2025.
The week aims to get as many people as possible online during the week. Whether it’s help to manage your money online, learn about online safety or gain basic digital skills for employment, there’s lots of free help and support available in Knowsley to get you connected.
Digital Roadshow
A Digital Roadshow is taking place on Monday 20th October 2025 from 11:30am until 2:30pm at Huyton Library.
There will be representatives from the Council, NHS, Family And Community Education (FACE) service, Merseyside Police and many more who can answer your questions and help you to access help and support online.
