St Margaret Mary Junior School in Huyton admits children from the beginning of key stage 2 (year 3).
Anyone wishing for their child to join the school at the beginning of year 3 must apply – this includes children who currently attend St Margaret Mary Catholic Infant School as there is no automatic transfer.
Information about the application process will be sent directly to parents/carers of any year 2 pupil attending St Margaret Mary's Catholic Infant School during the Autumn first half term.
Anyone else wishing to apply should contact the School Admissions Service to request a junior school admission application form.
The closing date for applications to be considered in the initial allocation of year 3 places for September 2027 entry is 15 January 2027.
National offer day is 16 April 2027 – this is when you will find out if a place has been offered.
If a place cannot be offered in St Margaret Mary Junior School, alternative options of schools that have available places will be identified for any Knowsley resident child who would otherwise be unplaced.
