Knowsley Council are seeking feedback on a new Private Sector Housing and Affordable Warmth Strategy for 2026-31.

The new Private Sector Housing and Affordable Warmth Strategy proposes three key priorities for the Council and partners to work to over the next five years to improve the housing standards, the energy efficiency of homes and address fuel poverty in Knowsley.

Key priorities

The three key priorities proposed are:

  • Priority One - Improving housing standards, accessible homes, having energy efficient and low carbon homes and Affordable Warmth
  • Priority Two - A high quality private rented sector
  • Priority Three - Making Best Use of the Housing Stock

A public consultation opens on Monday 16 February and will run until Friday 13 March for people to provide feedback on the proposed strategy.
