Receiving the licence and plate
You must complete the application form and submit all required documents no later than 2 working days before the test if you wish to collect your plate on the same day as your booking.
Please note, this only applies if you choose to book your test with our garage at Stretton Way.
Failing to follow this process will delay the issue of the plate and vehicle licence.
If you provide an application or submit documents after the 2-working day cut-off point, the plate will be issued within 10 working days and you will be sent an email when it is ready to be collected.
If you choose to go externally for the MOT and submit the application, we will aim to process your application within 10 working days.
Please consider these timescales in relation to your plate expiration date.
All licence documents will be issued as a PDF via email. Your declared radio circuit or Private Hire Operator, if they accept via email, will also receive a copy of the licence.
The licence plates are the only items that will be printed and made available for collection.
