A naming ceremony is a non-religious ceremony to celebrate the birth and naming of a child or to welcome an adopted child or stepchild of any age into a new family. The ceremony has no legal status.

Knowsley Registration Service can help you create a meaningful and memorable ceremony that is tailored to your family's specific needs and preferences. We offer a variety of venues within the borough, including the Register Office, or you can choose to hold the ceremony at another approved premise.
