Find out about local organisations that can offer financial advice and support.

All residents can visit Livv Housing Group online Money advice hub to find local support, including advice on employment, training, managing debt, health and wellbeing, furniture, getting online and claiming Universal Credit.

Many other organisations provide free and confidential advice to Knowsley residents. Some exceptions apply, so check the details below and if in doubt, get in touch before you visit. This advice includes:

Help to manage your money

TESS – anyone in rented accommodation

TESS offers housing-related support to anyone who lives in rented accommodation, including;

  • Help with applying for benefits
  • Advice on completing forms
  • Advocacy-speaking to other organisations on your behalf
  • Signposting you to relevant agencies for advice and support
  • Budgeting money, managing debt and rent arrears
  • Supporting tenants/customers at imminent risk of eviction or who are currently in crisis to engage with appropriate agencies
  • Support new tenants to set up their tenancy which may include providing support for tenants/customers to acquire new or maintain existing tenancy management skills.
