Textile recycling
There are several recycling bring bank sites across Knowsley Borough where residents can drop off clean clothing, paired footwear, bed linen, towels and household textiles.

Once collected, all textiles are transported to the Roberts Recycling sorting facility in Halebank, Widnes, where they are graded for reuse and recycling. Items suitable for reuse are sent to trusted partners to be given a second life, while worn or damaged materials are repurposed into new products such as industrial rags or insulation. Their goal is to keep textiles out of landfill. After collecting the textiles and processing at their depot, the clothing is shipped to trusted partners across Europe and the Middle East where it is distributed and reused.
