Support for Care Experienced People
We know that for young people the transition into adulthood can sometimes be difficult. Many people thankfully have the support of their family at home to help them become more independent.
For some young people in Knowsley this is not always the case though and that is particularly true for young people leaving care.
In recognition of this, the Council has worked with local partners and care leavers to develop a ‘Local Offer’ that is open to all young people leaving care in Knowsley.
There is a range of support and advice available around employment, accommodation, financial management, health and wellbeing and other important issues.
