What happens after a notice of marriage or civil partnership
Your notice will be displayed on the public notice board at the register office for 28 days. Then, the marriage district will issue a marriage or civil partnership schedule. The schedule is valid for 12 months from the date you gave notice, and only for the venue you have specified.
