Late applications
The online application portal will remain open for any Knowsley resident wishing to make a late application or a change of preference (revised application) after National Offer Day.

When you will receive your offer
Knowsley residents who applied via the online application portal, will receive their allocation result by accessing the portal and by email on the National Offer Date. Other applicants get their allocation result by in the post on National Offer Day.

No information regarding allocation outcomes will be available until National Offer Date and, to protect your personal data, allocation information discussed by telephone will normally only be with the named applicant and security checks may apply.
After you receive your offer
There is no requirement to formally accept a place in a Knowsley school, it will be assumed that your child will take the place in September.
If your child no longer needs the school place, email Knowsley School Admissions to confirm and briefly state the reason.
Please note, the Local Authority won't usually withdraw offers unless you confirm alternative education or the offer was due to error/false information.
Refusals
If you weren't offered your top choice school, it's because other applicants had higher priority under the school's specific oversubscription criteria.

Waiting lists
If your child wasn't offered a place at their preferred Knowsley school, their name will automatically be added to the waiting list for that school. These lists remain open until the end of the autumn term in December 2024.
If a place becomes available on a waiting list, the admissions team will contact you directly by email.
You can check your child's current position on any Knowsley school waiting list by contacting the admissions team. Please keep in mind that waiting lists are dynamic, and your child's position can change based on other applicants' actions and withdrawals.
If your circumstances change in any way that might affect your child's place on a waiting list (e.g., change of address), please notify the admissions team by email as soon as possible.
