Apply for an allotment
Allotments can be used to grow fruit and vegetables for your own personal use. Find out where the allotment sites are, how much plots cost and how to apply.
Annual allotment fees and conditions 2024/2025

Please note there are one-off administration charges for new allotment tenants at a cost of £30.00 (plus VAT) and a key charge of £18 (plus VAT) as of 2024.
You are also advised to join the National Allotment Society, which costs from £10 to £25 per year, depending on the site.
Your tenancy agreement is renewed each year on the condition that your plot is properly maintained.
