Knowsley and St Helens Community College
Knowsley and St Helens Community College has three campus sites in Knowsley and offers an array of different learning opportunities for school leavers, young people and adults.
Courses for school leavers are designed to give the skills and knowledge needed to set you on the right path to university or employment, whether through studying for T-Levels, Apprenticeships, Diplomas, or BTEC.
Knowsley and St Helens Community College also offers a range of full and part-time courses for adults over 19. Whether aiming to find work, progress in a current job, retrain for a new career, apply for university or learn new skills, there is a course for you.
Carmel College
Based in neighbouring St Helens, Carmel College offers a range of high quality A-Level, BTEC, T Level and Foundation Learning courses for students aged 16 and over. The college is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. There’s over 40 courses on offer with a range of opportunities to develop additional skills through the Enrichment and Skills programme and the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Cronton College is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and has recently benefitted from £18m of investment. In 2022, pass rates were 99.6% for A Levels and 99% for vocational qualifications. Free bus passes are available in 2023/2024.
Winstanley College
Winstanley College is rated Good by Ofsted and offers a variety of opportunities to over 2,000 students studying A Levels and Vocational qualifications. There’s over 40 subjects to choose from.
