The Streetscene Service are responsible for installing, maintaining and emptying over 700 litter bins throughout Knowsley. Litter bins are for the disposal of small rubbish items such as paper, cans, bottles, and dog waste. They are not for the disposal of domestic refuse.
The litter bins are emptied on various frequencies depending on footfall and usage. This can range from daily collections in town centres to four weekly collections in residential areas. Our litter bins are easily identifiable; they are sited in prominent spots and provide an easy way for you to dispose of your rubbish.
