The Knowsley application portal is for use by Knowsley residents only. If you live in another authority, you must apply on your home authority's application. However, you can name Knowsley primary or secondary schools as preferences if you wish.

Application dates
The national closing date for reception class applications is 15 January 2024 and the national closing date for secondary school applications is 31 October 2023.
If your child was born between September 1st 2019 and August 31st 2020, you can apply for a reception class place. The last day to apply is January 15, 2024.
If your child is in Year 6 at primary school and was born between September 1st 2012 and August 31st 2013, you can apply for a secondary school place. The last day to apply is October 31, 2023.
