Report anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour can cause distress and isolation and you shouldn't have to live with it. Find out more about how to report it here.

Anti-social behaviour is persistent behaviour that causes you to feel alarmed, frightened, or distressed.

Examples of anti-social behaviour are:

  • Vandalism linked to threatening or offensive behaviour
  • Graffiti linked to threatening or offensive behaviour
  • Street drug dealing and drinking
  • Threatening or drunken behaviour
  • Setting off fireworks late at night
  • Off-road motorbiking

Advice and support

Keep a note of when, where, and what happens, including descriptions of people or vehicles involved.

Report anti-social behaviour to the police or the council.

In an emergency, always call 999.

You can report anti-social to your registered social landlord, who will also provide support and advice.

If you live in social housing, you can also report incidents of anti-social behaviour to your housing provider.
