Share your views on Prescot Town Centre
Knowsley Council is committed to making Prescot Town Centre even better, having already been involved in several ambitious projects in the last few years including the new Shakespeare North Playhouse and the restoration of historical buildings and spaces.
Across the country, shopping habits have changed radically, with more and more of us now shopping online. As a result, Prescot Shopping Centre has suffered from a reduced number of retailers interested in letting the shop units over recent years, leading to its current low levels of occupancy. The Council, keen to intervene and continue improving Prescot Town Centre, has recently acquired the Shopping Centre along with the derelict Stephenson’s Printworks site.
To help shape plans, the Council would like to hear your views about the town, the shopping centre and how you feel the town centre should evolve to make it even more successful and vibrant.
