Highway improvement scheme - Roby Road

Traffic and pedestrian surveys have confirmed that a formal crossing is needed on Roby Road, given the traffic flow and the number of people trying to cross.

It has also been identified that the lack of a signalised pedestrian crossing is preventing residents from accessing Bowring Park.

So it is proposed that a new signalised pedestrian crossing should be installed on the A5080 Roby Road, near its junction with Earle Avenue. In addition, there are plans to resurface some sections of Roby Road which are in a poor condition. You can view more detail on the consultation plan.
