Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park hosts a wide range of events for all the family. This includes sports, arts, community and celebration events, fairs, conferences, theatre performances and shows.

Shine talent show

The Shine 2019 event promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment featuring some of the brightest talents in Knowsley – and performers aged from one to 100 are invited to be part of it.
 
This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals or groups to perform to an audience of more than 300 at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park in Huyton, giving a real taste for what they have to offer.
 
Last year, audiences at the first ever Shine were entertained by singers, dancers, gymnasts and actors – and this year the stage is open to all, once again. 

If you don’t fancy taking to the stage make sure you don’t miss your chance to be in the audience enjoying the very best talent the borough has to offer.
 
Shine 2019 promises to be a non-stop, high energy evening filled with an awe-inspiring variety of different performers.
 
And with tickets priced at just £8 per person, it’s the best value entertainment in town.

Trio Entertainment returns to Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park after the huge success of "Jack and The Beanstalk" to with their ninth pantomime, The Wizard of Oz!

"We’re off to see a wizard...ly wonderful Musical Pantomime adventure, The Wizard of Oz!"

Join Dorothy as she befriends a brainless scarecrow, a loveable tinman and a cowardly lion. Follow them on their quest to stop the evil powers of the Wicked Witch of the West. With a little help from Glinda the Good Fairy and the almighty and powerful Wizard of Oz, good is sure to conquer evil.

Featuring an all-star cast including Soheila Clifford from the X Factor playing the Wicked Witch, Chris Rankin from Harry Potter as the Wizard of Oz and Melissa Suffield from Eastenders playing Dorothy. Back by popular demand - Tom Belmont as the Scarecrow!


This Christmas treat is fun for all the family from ages two to 102! Packed with great songs, brilliant dance routines and plenty of laughter, it’s going to be the best value family-friendly pantomime in town.

Rapunzel

Let your hair down and get tangled in a brand-new musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale, RAPUNZEL!

Immersion Theatre proudly presents a witty, tongue-in-cheek retelling of the family favourite complete with a laugh out loud script, a host of catchy songs, heaps of audience interaction, and an exciting array of magical characters which include a wickedly boo-able witch, a clumsy Prince, and a feisty Princess with the longest hair you’re ever likely to come across!

With magic and mayhem throughout and a chance to meet the characters after the show, this is one hair-raising adventure the family won’t want to miss!

Concessions and ticket offers

Concessionary rates for tickets are available for some events. In general, concessions and offers will be available for the following:

  • Young people under 16 years of age
  • Senior Citizens
  • All Active Knowsley members with a gold, silver or swimming membership (only available by purchasing over the phone or at the site)
  • Disabled adults/carers

Concessionary rates for some events may differ e.g. for Mersey Tigers events. Please refer to their guidelines for these details.

Ticket offers

  • Group offer: buy ten tickets and get one free
  • Family ticket (where applicable): two adults and two children under 16
