Get Active
Parks and green spaces are great places to get active with miles of attractive walking and cycling paths. Why not get out and explore or join the Green Space Rangers at a walking, cycling or conservation group in a park near you?

Green space volunteering
Volunteering is a great way of making a difference to the green spaces you love. It provides an opportunity to say ‘I did that’ and make Knowsley’s green and open spaces better for the people who visit and the wildlife that live there.
There are lots of reasons to volunteer in our green spaces. You will be giving something back to your community, developing new skills, building on existing experience and knowledge, as well as meeting like-minded people and improving your health.
Volunteering opportunities include, but are not limited to, practical conservation work, wildlife surveying, help with guided walks and school visits.
If you’re interested in getting involved please download a copy of our Green Space Volunteer Expression of Interest form, fill it in and email it to [email protected].
